So for in this
class I have learned how everything is a metaphor and invisible narrative. I
have never had this topic taught to me in any of my English classes. This class
structure is a first for me.
Most of my classes
have a much simpler class structure, where you only receive one grade form the
teacher. I feel like most follow this this rule because it is expected. I
really like how this class focuses on improving writing by let us get feed back
form our peers. Every class is a discussion. Which everyone is welcomes to
speak.
One of my favorite
discussion we had in this class was about metaphors and how everything is a
metaphor. It something I see but I never thought it was as metaphor. I felt as
if that class day, was one of the most dramatic ones I ever seen. I don’t see a
lot of teachers opening up to student so early in the semester. The way the
class is structure is meant to be helpful and informative not only grade based,
that’s what I see. We the free writes and the discussion we have that isn’t graded.
Which is good, I don’t have to worry about the grade I would get but what I am
writing about.
The subject of
invisible narrative is a difficult one to understand at first. But over time I
grow to understand it. I wrote about Faking It, which is a television show that
I like but has very negative invisible narrative. I have always seen the mess
up message the show teaches viewers. None of my classes before talked about
invisible narrative. It is a relative new topic to me. Mostly everything I
learn in this class is relatively new or used terms like “metaphors’ in a new
way. The class is comfortable, I don’t feel like opinions is attack and I’m
learn new materials.
I major of the
assignment posted, I was enable to summit on time mostly because of own life,
and how things play out. This class is informative and movies pretty much okay.
I feel encouraged to speak in my own works but I don’t think it the best way to
learn. I do enjoy talking how I speak it makes thing easier to write since I don’t
have to translated it to conmen language and form structures that fit in with
the writing still we are writing
I love your title and I like the way you wrote your blog! I agree with you on how this class how the things that we learned in class is extremely new, it kind of opened up my eyes/perspective.
